Company history
Werner Hächler, born and raised in Zurich, is a natural collector. A passionate cyclist, his extensive collection of cycling motifs, including stamps, is of particular importance to him. In January 1978, Werner Hächler fulfilled a dream by opening his own stamp shop after spending ten years building up a philatelic business through the stamp exchange. For 17 years, he also had his own booth at public trade fairs.
Performance profile
Werner Hächler specializes in modern stamps, primarily from Switzerland, including special cancellations. He also carries a large selection of modern stamps (standard) from around the world, as well as first-day covers. He specializes in UN stamps: New York, Geneva, and Vienna. All of these are also available through new issue subscriptions. In addition, Werner Hächler offers a wide range of stamp accessories and literature.
Werner Hächler considers his main activity to be serving small-scale collectors: at stamp exhibitions and fairs, as well as at markets. However, his shop in Volketswil – near Volkiland – is also open for direct sales on Wednesday afternoons.
